William E. Klaehn

William E. Klaehn, Jr., 85, of Marblehead, OH died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born April 11, 1930 in Cleveland, OH to William and Elsie (Babbitts) Klaehn. He married V. Becky Lentzakis on December 31, 1958 and she survives. Mr. Klaehn was a United States Army Veteran serving in The Korean War. He worked as an auto mechanic at Spitzer Chrysler and Doraty Chrysler Dealerships. In 1976 he and his wife moved to Marblehead and purchased Mutach's Food Market and operated it until retiring in 2007. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury and he enjoyed boating, water skiing and he was an avid Corvette buff. Surviving are his wife: Becky; sons: William (Margie) Klaehn III of Marblehead, Russell Klaehn of Vacaville, CA, John (Heather) Klaehn of Marblehead; grandchildren: William Klaehn IV, George Klaehn, Cassie Klaehn, John Klaehn, Jr., Alex Klaehn; brother: Russell (Marlene) Klaehn of North Royalton, OH. He was preceded in death by his son: George Klaehn in 1990. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, September 11, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury, where the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside--Marblehead, OH. Interment will be in Clemons Cemetery, Marblehead. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Danbury Township Fire and E.M.S.
