William D. Smith

William D. Smith, 68, of Port Clinton died Friday, April 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1946 in Port Clinton, the son of John A. and Kathleen E. (Brown) Smith, Sr. He was a United States Marine Veteran, a member of Rivers of Living Water Church and he worked at the former Standard Products and Crescent Manufacturing. He enjoyed fishing, boating, shooting pool, darts, playing cards and he considered himself the Grill Master. Surviving are his wife: Beatrice Salyers; sons: Jamie (Michelle) Frohne, Dustin (Ashley Miller) Puckett both of Port Clinton; daughters: Trinity (Kyeeir Russell) Smith, Katrina Smith both of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Gus Frohne, Marissa Frohne, Aiden Puckett; brothers: Joseph (Hattie) Fortson of Port Clinton, John A. (Toni) Smith of Norwalk; sister: Mary (Dave) Morisett. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Boliver Smith, Valva Himon; sister: Cora L. Smith. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Grace United Church of God, Port Clinton, OH. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
