Trula May Stinson, 75, of Port Clinton, died Saturday February 13, 2010 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. She was born July 22, 1934 in Buchanan County, Virginia, the daughter of Claude and Ona (Harris) Ball, Sr. On November 29, 1951, she married Willard Randolph Stinson and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2005. Trula was formerly employed at Celotex and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wayside Temple in Castalia. Surviving are her son Alfred Claude (friend Cindy Stinson) Stinson; grandsons Brian Alan (Karen Ann) Stinson and Kevin Randolph Stinson; great-granddaughter Hailey Jade Stinson; her significant other Bob Gottfried; sisters Shirleen Umberger and Fonnie Ann Harman and brothers Claude Ball, Jr., Troy Eugene Ball, Lee Roy Ball, Franklin Ball, James Ball and Robert Ball. In addition to her husband, Trula was preceded in death by a son Danny Lee Stinson, her parents, a brother Truman Lewis Ball and a sister Margie Morgan. Friends may call from 10 am Tuesday until the time of services at 12 noon at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. The Rev. Rusty Yost will officiate. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice.
