Thomas H Brown, Jr.

Thomas H. "T.H." Brown, Jr. of Marblehead, Ohio died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at his residence. He was born on February 10, 1949 in Helena, Arkansas, the son of Thomas H. Brown Sr. and Louise (Wilkinson) Baker. He was a musician and singer who often times played at Mon Ami, the Crow's Nest, Shifter's, and at various festivals during the summer months. He was known for playing "Sweet Home Chicago" on the harmonica, and also played the lead guitar. He was a member of the Sandusky Baptist Church in Sandusky. His hobbies included taking long walks with his dog, "Henry"; refurbishing old guitars; fishing; going to yard sales and buying antiques; cooking, and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his wife: Mary Ann (Gresh) whom he married on February 27, 1971; sons: Christopher Thomas Brown, Sr., of Crowder, Mississippi and Admm Joseph Brown, I, of Marblehead, Ohio; grandsons: Christopher Thomas Brown, Jr., John Tyler Brown, Admm Joseph Brown II, Kenneth Thomas Brown and Chance Fisher Brown; his mother: Louise, of Charleston, Mississippi; brother: Clifford Ray (Jean) Brown, of Ray City, Georgia; his dog, "Henry" and his cat "Sable". He was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January, 15, 2011 from 3-7pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio. Private burial will take place at a later date in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ottawa County.
