Terri Elaine Ohl

Terri Elaine Ohl, 50, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on December 13, 1964 in Bucyrus, Ohio, the daughter of William H. and Jane (True) Ohl. Terri began her early life having open heart surgery when she was just 21 months old. At 35 years old she had a heart transplant and double lung transplant. Terri was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Port Clinton Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge and the Port Clinton Eagles Lodge. She was a very kind and thoughtful person and enjoyed sharing with her nephews her love for music and card playing. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her parents: William and Jane; brothers: William Ohl, II, of Port Clinton; Perry (Erin) Ohl, of Ashland, Ohio; Monty (Jeanette) Ohl, of Ontario, Ohio; Ron Shoemaker, of Alabama; sister: Michele Ohl (Ron Henry), of Port Clinton; nephews: Sidney, Connor, Maxton, Jacob, and Aiden Ohl; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Vern Shepherd officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ottawa County or to the American Heart Association.
