Suzanne P. Butler

     Suzanne (Parish) Butler, 86, formerly of Elyria and Port Clinton, OH passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Parkvue Health Care Center in Sandusky after a lengthy illness. She was born on August 28, 1938 in Champaign, IL, to the late Paul and Kathryn (Steiner) Parish. Suzanne graduated from Elyria High School in 1956 and married Charles “Chuck” Butler on August 22, 1959. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2017.

     Suzanne worked as an X-ray technician at Elyria Memorial Hospital before dedicating much of her life to being a homemaker. She was active in the Elyria Women’s Club and the former Spring Valley Country Club. She enjoyed reading, painting, rug-hooking, and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons.

     She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Bernie) Zeiher of Port Clinton, OH; grandchildren, Charles “Alex” (Megan) Zeiher and Jacob Zeiher; great-grandchildren, Anna and Camden Zeiher; and nephew, Charles (Debby) Lance.

      Services will be private and burial will take place alongside her husband in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township, OH.
