Ruby V. Knecht, 82, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on February 19, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on September 2, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Arlo V. and Mina Ruth (Bruner) Knecht. Ruby and Earl D. Rahm Sr. owned and operated Rahm's Trailer Park and Marina on Sand Road for 25 years which was previously owned by her parents. Ruby continued to own and operate the park until her retirement. She enjoyed reading and loved being by the water. One of her favorite past times was crocheting afghans and blankets for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all of her friends. She had a special love for her cats (her babies). Those left to cherish her memory are: sons, Robert A. Rahm (Pam), Port Clinton, Rick Rahm (Lois Collins), Oak Harbor, Gary Rahm, Port Clinton; daughters, Deborah Rudolph (Steve), Iowa, Cindy Giessman (Gary), North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Eva Rahm; grandchildren, Cory, Stephanie, Seth, Cale, Jessica, Michelle, Earl "Sonny", Jeremy, Jennifer, Jason, Samantha; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlo and Mina; sister, Helen; brother, Gary; son, Earl, Jr.; great-grandson, Gavin; Earl D. Rahm, Sr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10 am at Attica Venice Township Joint Cemetery in Attica.
