Rosemary Lucille Cornell, 79, of Marblehead, Ohio passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Stein Hospice Care in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on November 24, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband, Gerry of 58 years. Loving mother to Karen Ann Walsh Manassas, Virginia, Christine Marie (Francisco) Orozco, Royal Oak, Michigan, Kathleen Mary Cornell, Westlake, Ohio, and Colleen Elizabeth (Thomas) Blumberg, Lake City, Michigan. Devoted Nana to Ryan (Franzi) Walsh, Meghan Walsh, Alexander Orozco, Emily Rose Orozco, Thomas Blumberg and Lindsey Blumberg. Dearest sister of Jo Ann Westphal (deceased, David), Hudson, Ohio and Edward Hesseman (deceased, Sally), Bath, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ann Hesseman. Rosemary was a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marblehead where she was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was an avid reader, enjoyed boating, and loved traveling. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 10:00am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, Ohio. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead.
