Robert S. Mazur

Robert S. Mazur, 68, of Marblehead, OH died Friday, April 6, 2018 while vacationing with his wife in Las Vegas, NV. He was born Feb. 11, 1950 in Marblehead, OH the son of Andrew and Ann (Pich) Mazur. He married Diane Collins on Oct. 4, 2004 and she survives. Bob graduated from Danbury High School where he played baseball. He held the record (17) for consecutive strike outs. He then graduated from University of Toledo with a BA in Business. He purchased A & A Market from his parents and ran the store for over 40 years. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers fan and he enjoyed fishing and boating. He loved to travel and thoroughly enjoyed following his grandkids sporting events. Surviving are his wife: Diane; step-children: Jennifer (Joseph) Elias of Marblehead, Christina Grimm of Port Clinton, Eric (Maria) Grimm of Marblehead and Joshua (Amy) Grimm of Sandusky; seven step-grandchildren; brothers: James (Rita) Mazur of Marblehead, Craig Mazur of Marblehead; sister: Susan (Tom) Wiseman of Perrysburg and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Barbara Parker. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, April 13, 2018 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
