Robert J. Holman

Robert J. Holman, 68, of Port Clinton, OH died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Admiral's Pointe, Huron. OH. He was born June 21, 1947 in Port Clinton, OH the son of Joseph J. and Theresa (Lauer) Holman. Robert was a United States Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Robert was a carpenter with Carpenters Local 744. He loved raising and racing pigeons and was an active member of Fremont Pigeon Club. He was also a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2480, Port Clinton, Port Clinton American Legion Post, Knights of Columbus, and the American Racing Pigeon Union. Surviving are his children: Jacki (Steve) Stocker, of Norwalk, Nathan (Angie) Holman of Port Clinton, Jessica (Charles) Elliott of Port Clinton, Dillon Speziali of Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren: Archer Holman, Griffin Holman, Michael Elliott, Deanna Elliott; brother: Lawrence Holman of Port Clinton; sisters: Mary Ann (Loren) Moore of Port Clinton, Angie Holcomb of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Catherine Holman. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 3:00 pm. VFW Post 2480 will be presenting Military Honors at the service. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
