Raymond E. Taylor

     Raymond E. Taylor, 68 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, June 2, 2025 at his home under Hospice Care. He was born December 2, 1956 in Toledo, OH to the late Kenneth and Barbara (Doak) Taylor. Raymond was a commercial fisherman in the Port Clinton Area and also worked construction for Jerry Oleksa. On July 11, 2004 he married the former Cheryle Wickline, and she survives. Ray was an avid fisherman, loved singing Karaoke, and working on cars.

     Survivors include his wife Cheryle; children: Raymond Taylor Jr., Dawn Taylor, Stephen DeRosia, and Tabatha DeRosia (Pat Tennant); grandchildren & great-grandchildren and brothers Dennis (Gloria) Taylor and Timothy Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Taylor, step-father Roger Bodi; brothers Vernon Taylor and Kenneth Taylor and x-wife Deborah Taylor.

     A time of gathering will be 11am – 1pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton Chapel, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton, OH. A short musical selection will begin at 1pm at the funeral home followed by a procession to Rusha Cemetery, Carroll Township where a short committal service will be performed.
