Phyllis V. Hetrick

Phyllis V. Hetrick, 78, of Fremont, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born in Sandusky Township on November 24, 1931, a daughter of Charles H. & Mildred V. (Martin) Hetrick. Phyllis was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingsway, and loved reading and sewing. She worked with her sister at the Modernette in Oak Harbor for many years and also was an employee of Erie Islands Resort, Port Clinton, Ohio. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Donna M. Hetrick, Fremont; sister-in-law, Geraldine Hetrick, Fremont; niece, Sharon Hetrick, and nephew, Rex A. Hetrick. Also surviving are 2 great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Harold C. Hetrick, and Ward D. Hetrick. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingsway, where friends may call an hour prior to the services. Rev. Keith Koppenhofer will officiate, and interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, adjacent to the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
