Oscar Odis Rowan

Oscar Odis Rowan, 72, of Elmore, OH died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born January 29, 1937 in Sutton, WV, the son of the late Griffin and Goldie (Snyder) Rowan. He married Rocile D. Frasier on April 7, 1959 and she survives. Mr. Rowan was a partner and operator of Sigler & Sieving of Genoa, OH. He was a member of St. Paul-Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore, and he loved to fish, go boating and hunt. Surviving are his wife: Rocile; son: Thomas (Julia) Rowan of Pemberville; daughters: Rocile E. (Kim) Parton of Elmore, Lynne (Dave) Kozak of Malinta, OH; grandchildren: Adam Parton of Elmore, Hayden Rowan of Pemberville, Lewis Rowan of Pemberville; great-grandchild: Reid Parton of Sandusky; six brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, December 27, 2009 at St. Paul-Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6:00 8:00 pm at Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore-Genoa Chapel. Interment will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. Following the services, a luncheon will be served at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul-Trinity United Methodist Church.
