Nancy A. Lehner

Nancy Ann Lehner, 87, of Catawba Island passed away peacefully May 5, 2020 at her home. She was born October 1st, 1932 in Fort Wayne Indiana the daughter of Charles and Velda (Nobles) Collier. She graduated from Willis High School in Delaware, Ohio in 1951. Nancy married William (Bill) Lehner in Delaware Ohio August 24th, 1952. Nancy was blessed with the opportunity to travel the US and several foreign countries with her husbands work in the food industry. In Nancys early years she was an avid pilot owning her own plane. She greatly loved her gardens and flowers as it grew into her passion. Together Nancy and her husband (Bill) renovated several older homes over the years while raising 3 sons. Nancy was a member of the White Glove Garden club, 60-year member of Beta Sigma Phi. Nancy and Bill, loving the water and boating on Lake Erie, moved from Delaware Ohio to Catawba Island, Port Clinton Ohio in 1988. Surviving is her son: Rex E. (Julia Kay Ginn) Lehner of Catawba Island, Her brother Rex E (Malvina Golden) Collier; grandchildren: Stacie, Kristie, Leslie; great-grandson: Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband William E Lehner, Parents: Charles Collier Sr., Mother Velda (Nobles) Collier: her sons: William M. Lehner, Patrick E. Lehner; sister Shirley (Devoe) Collier: Brother: Charles Collier JR. Funeral services will be private. Interment will take place in Delaware, Ohio.
