Myron C. Lohr

Myron C. Lohr, 89 of Elmore, OH died unexpectedly at his home Monday, July 25, 2011. He was born October 19, 1921 in Elmore, OH to the late Clarence J. and Hazel N. (Miller) Lohr. He married the former Lavona Layton who preceded him in death October 7, 1985. Myron worked in maintenance over 20 years for Page Dairy in Toledo, OH from which he retired. He loved to karaoke, dance and live life to its fullest. Survivors include his significant other of over 20 years Joan Anderson of Toledo; children: Jerry P. Lohr of Lindsey, OH and Lynda K. (Russell) Porter of Fremont, IN; grandchildren: Jeremy (Debra), Jess (Melissa), Heather (Mike), Monica (Nick), and Mindy (Adam); and 11 great- grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brother William Lohr. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 2-5pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Burial will be in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
