Millicent Jane “Millie” Taylor, 88, of Port Clinton passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born July 6, 1936 in Clearfield, PA the daughter of Daniel Michael and Dessie Rosetta (Glass) Faretta. She moved to Port Clinton in the 1940’s from Mingo, WV. She graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1955 and married Warren G. Taylor on August 29, 1956 and he survives. Millie retired from the Catawba Island McDonalds in 2007. She previously worked at Periodical Publishing in Sandusky, A & P in Port Clinton and volunteered with the Ottawa County Board of Elections. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, rock & Roll, crocheting and baking goods and sharing them with friends. She loved animals and donated frequently to the SPCA. She was very knowledgeable of local history and was an exceptional tour guide of the area.

Surviving are her husband: Warren; sister-in-law: Daisy (Steve) Honaker of Richmond, VA; special friend Jennifer of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter: Cheryl Lynn Taylor and sister: Patricia Depner. The family would like to thank Guiding Hands for their loving care.

Private graveside services were held at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton with Rev. Dane Meuschke officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, 3620 E. State Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
