Michael J. Stayancho

Michael J. Stayancho, 61 of Oak Harbor, Ohio died suddenly Monday, December 8, 2014 at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. He was born November 1, 1953 in Marblehead, Ohio to the late Joe & Donna (Zura) Stayancho. Mike was a 1971 graduate of Danbury-Lakeside High School. He was been employed for 43 years as a machine operator for the Fenner Dunlop Company, Port Clinton, OH. Mike was a member of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting, "turtleing", playing "Skipbo" and making bacon with his grandchildren. On June 11, 1977, he married the former Ginger Reif and she survives. Also surviving are his children: Tracy (Sebrina Dobbelare) St. Clair and Shannon (Tony) Buder, both of Oak Harbor; brother, Don (Patti) Stayancho and sister Linda (Chris) Twarek, both of Marblehead; grandchildren: Taylor, Cydney, and Ripley St. Clair, Remi and Porter Gregory, Autumn and Reese Buder, and Ellie Dobbelare. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. Wednesday and 2-9 P.M. Thursday at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, December 12, 2014 at Rushau Cemetery, Carroll Township. Mike's family would like to invite friends to the American Legion Post #114 in Oak Harbor from 12-3 P.M. for stories and refreshments.
