Melvin H. Behring

Melvin Henry Behring, 80, of Elmore, OH died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Genoa Retirement Village, Genoa, OH. He was born March 1, 1932 at home in Sandusky County to the late Fred and Goldie (Myers) Behring. Mr. Behring was a lifelong farmer in the Elmore Area and retired following 20 years of employment at the H.J. Heinz Co., Fremont, OH. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elmore. Survivors include his sister LaVerne (Donald) Lombard of Wayne, OH; nieces Vivian (Richard, Jr.) Williamson of Wayne, OH and Diane (Joel) Curlis of Findlay, OH; He always had a special place in his heart for his great niece and nephews, and great- great niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore- Genoa Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 1pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Funeral Home, with Rev. David Nevergall officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Elmore.
