Melody Ann Cipiti

Melody Ann Cipiti, 48, of Port Clinton, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 13, 2015. She was born November 16, 1966 in Springfield, OR the daughter of James and Janet (Cheshire) Rahrer. She married James Robert "JR" Cipiti, a Port Clinton Police Officer on Nov. 3, 1990. Melody previously worked at several local hospitals as a lab tech. Surviving are her husband, JR Cipiti; mother: Janet Shepherd of Port Clinton; mother-in-law: Martha Cipiti of Port Clinton; brother: Eric Rahrer of Portland, OR and his children: Eric, Chance and Connor Rahrer; uncle: Jeffrey Cheshire of Port Clinton; brothers-in-law: John (Sally) Cipiti of Oak Harbor, Jeff (Brenda) Cipiti of Fostoria; sisters-in-law: Jane (Bill) Taylor of Catawba Island, Julie (Tony) Sebastiano of Port Clinton; nephews and nieces: Adam (Ashley) Sebastiano of Elyria, OH, Molly Taylor of Chicago, IL, Aaron (Rachael) Taylor of Catawba Island; great-nieces: Alexa and Adrianna Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father: James Rahrer; step-father: Ed Shepherd and father-in-law Santo Cipiti. Funeral services will be private.
