Marvine Luecht, 81 of Oak Harbor, OH died Friday, April 17, 2015 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born May 26, 1933 in Circleville, OH to the late Clarence and Josephine (Riggins) Cooper. She was a graduate of Jackson Township High School. On June 2, 1956 she married Melvin O. Luecht who preceded her in death November 10, 2007. Marvine worked at L.Z. Lantz Drug Store in Oak Harbor from 1951 1961 after which, she became a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor where she was very active in the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 114, Oak Harbor. Marvine enjoyed bowling and was quite active in leagues in both the Oak Harbor and Port Clinton areas. She also volunteered her time as a respite care provider for handicap children here in Ottawa County. She is survived by her daughter Mary Luecht of Oak Harbor. She was also preceded in death by her son Carl M. Luecht and many brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, with the Rev. David A. Voll officiating. Burial will be in Salem Twp. Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions can be given to either St. Paul United Church of Christ or to Mary to help with future expenses.
