Mark S. Shortridge

Mark S. Shortridge, 68, of Marblehead, OH passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025. He was born November 10, 1956 in Port Clinton, the son or Charles and Nancy (Jeremy) Shortridge. He married Rhonda Floriana on September 10, 1976. Mark owned and operated his own company, Mark Shortridge Tree Trimming and Ex. He loved to work mainly at Johnson Island. He loved to be outdoors, hunting and working on his classic cars.

Surviving are his wife: Rhonda; sons: Corey Shortridge of Marblehead, Nicholas (ViMary) Shortridge of Marblehead; daughter: Melony Shortridge of Marblehead; grandchildren: Janessa Shortridge, Cole Shortridge, Rileigh Shortridge and Faith Shortridge; like a son: Donnie Byram of Marblehead; siblings: Mary Buzzard of Port Clinton, Charles L. “Rick” (Mary Jo) Shortridge of Port Clinton, Joni (David) Betschman of Port Clinton; sister-in-law: Rebecca Shortridge of Port Clinton; mother-in-law: Dolly Neff of Port Clinton and brother-in-law: Robbie Floriana of Port Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Lawrence “Lonnie" Shortridge and sister: Nancy Haugh.
