Marian Elizabeth Dibert

Marian Elizabeth Dibert, 87 of Elmore, OH, sixty-five year beloved companion and wife of Charles Dibert, died June 16, 2015 at Genoa Care Center, Genoa, OH. Marian was born in Elmore, March 10, 1928 to Rolla and Esther (Beck) Weis. She was a 1946 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. She married Charles, who survives her, April 14, 1950. They lived 58 years in Marian's ancestral home. In her earlier years, Marian was employed by the Toledo Trust Company and Blue Cross of Ohio. In the 1970's she served as the first woman Clerk of the Village of Elmore. She was a faithful and active member of St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore, serving fifteen years as its treasurer. Marian was dedicated to her vocations of wife and mother. She was a water color artist and a skilled quilting seamstress, her many creations now gracing the homes of her descendants. In addition to her husband Charles, survivors include her children: Susan (Robert) Willenbrink of St. Joseph, MO, Eileen (Steven) VanderVeen of Holland, MI, Cathleen (Thomas) Romanoski of Katy, TX and Steven (Debra) Dibert of Elmore; 11 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; brother Edgar Weis of Genoa and sister Dorothy Humberger of Elmore. Private Graveside services will take place in Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, OH at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
