Marguerite R. "Peg" Bolte

Marguerite R. "Peg" Bolte, 97, of Port Clinton, died Wednesday evening November 29, 2017 at The Chalet at Ohio Living Vineyard on Catawba. She was born June 3, 1920 in New Marshfield, OH the daughter of Ivo and Marie (Stright) Cooper. She married Gene Bolte on April 27, 1946 and he preceded her in death on October 27, 2010. Peg was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton, OH. She was a member of Catawba Island Club, Port Clinton Yacht Club, charter member of Jr. Womens Club, Buckeye Presidents Club, golferettes at CIC and a past Worthy Matron of Port Clinton Chapter #267 O. E. S. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. She is survived her daughter: Cindy (Jack Huston) Bolte of Catawba Island; sons: John H. (Gerri) Bolte III of Catawba Island, David A. (Lynn) Reid of Johannesburg, South Africa; grandchildren: Phillip (Jennifer) Bolte of Port Clinton, Renee (Cory) Stine of Port Clinton, John H. (Mandy) Bolte IV, PHD of Columbus; great-grandchildren: John H. (Sarah) Bolte V, Luke Bolte, Ty Bolte, McKenzie Stine, Cooper Stine and Gianna Bolte; sister: Sara Lou (Bigelow) Green of Nyack, NY. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, December 4, 2017 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 214 E. Second St. Port Clinton with Rev. Mary Staley officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Private interment services will be held at Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 214 E. Second St. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
