Margaret L. Gerding, 83, of Port Clinton, died Sunday August 12, 2007 at H.B. Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. She was born May 29, 1924 in Corinth, New York. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Gerding whom she married on May 29, 1941; her daughter Vicki (Robert) Kyle of Columbus; son Robert C. (Marsha) Gerding of Port Clinton; grandchildren Steven (Angie) Gerding, Katie Gerding, Nancy (Steve) Waterhouse, Angela (Dave) Ashbaugh and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ida Rupp Public Library, Port Clinton.
