Madonna C. Sullivan

Madonna C. Sullivan, 100, of Port Clinton, OH, died Monday, October 27, 2014 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born April 20, 1914 in Port Clinton, the daughter of Cornelius and Clara (Carnicom) Druyor. She married William J. "Sully" Sullivan on Aug. 5, 1934 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1998. Mrs. Sullivan worked at Green Thumb, Walfords and she wrote for the News Herald. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading, writing poetry, crocheting, knitting and telling jokes. She especially loved sending cards to loved ones. Surviving are her children: Pat Ridley of Port Clinton, Kit (Jake) Perry of Taylors, SC, Kay (Neal) Crane of Lynchburg, VA, Joy Friend of Inman, SC, Sallye (Billy) Lowe of Fredericksburg, VA, Shawn (Artie) Wadsworth of Port Clinton, Dinny Sullivan of Port Clinton, John (Brenda) Sullivan of Port Clinton; 24 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter: Pam Carpenter; brothers: Keith Druyor, Wesley Druyor, Elmer Druyor, Ralph Druyor, Dorell Druyor, Frank Druyor; sisters: Dottie Ireland, Sylvia Myers, Goldie Wyss and two infants. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton Chapel where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, October 31, 2014. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Ida Rupp Public Library, Port Clinton, OH.
