Lynda L. Damschroder

Lynda L. Damschroder, 91, of Elmore, OH died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at St. Charles Mercy Medical Center, Oregon, OH. She was born February 18, 1917 in Elmore to the late Charles & Mary (Frase) Wendt. Mrs. Damschroder was a 1935 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. On December 9, 1937 she married Woodrow A. Damschroder who preceded her in death February 21, 2001. She was a homemaker, but often times could be found helping her husband at his Jewelery store. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore where she participated in the Ladies Aid. She is survived by a sister- in- law Betty Wendt of Maumee, OH; nieces & nephews: Mildred Heins, Thelma Graver, Madelyn Hetrick, Jon Haar, Connie Kimball, Prudence Muisse, Charlie Wendt, Jeri Wendt, and Craig Wendt. She was also preceded in death by brothers: Carl and Paul Wendt and sister Norma Wendt-Haar. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Friday, February 29, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Elmore with the Rev. Stephen Lutz officiating. Visitation will be at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to either: Trinity Lutheran Church, Lutheran Home of Mercy, Williston, or Donor's Choice.
