Lois Ann Millinger

Lois Ann Millinger, 70 of Oak Harbor, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, Oregon, OH following a brief illness. She was born February 11, 1940 in Port Clinton, OH to the late Waldo E. "Tuffy" and Margaret (Hetrick) Henderlich. She was a 1958 graduate of Port Clinton High School. On June 30, 1962 she married Carlton E. "Butch" Millinger who preceded her in death June 13, 2005. Lois was employed by the Benton- Carroll- Salem Schools where she enjoyed driving bus for 26 years retiring in 2007. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor and developed many lifelong relationships thru her husband's memberships in various organizations, one of which was the Moose Lodge1610 of Port Clinton. Lois loved her family and her grandchildren meant the world to her. Survivors include her sons: Mark (Katrina) Millinger of Atlanta, GA, Matt (Heather) Millinger of Galion, OH, Eric (Chris) Millinger of Oak Harbor, OH; grandchildren: Katie, Kimberly, Lauren, Lindsay, Alex, Jordan, A.J., and Abigail; sister Linda (William) Fehnrich of Port Clinton, OH and sister- in- law Shirley Millinger of Port Clinton. Visitation will be 2-9pm Tuesday with the family present 2-4 & 6-9pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11am at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor with the Rev. David J. Tinker officiating. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice.
