Linda J. Hartlaub

Linda J. Hartlaub, 64, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 surrounded by her family and lifelong friends. She was born January 25, 1954, the daughter of Lawrence and Shirley (Knittel) Hartlaub. Linda was the Director of Ruth Anns House in Port Clinton, OH. She served the City of Port Clinton for 20 years as a council member and Council President. While on council, she was instrumental in the Conestoga Project, Lakefront Preserve, Revitalization of the West End and many more projects. Previously she was the Ottawa County Cooridinator for W.S.O.S. She began her career with the Book Mobile of Ida Rupp Public Library. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Port Clinton, The Democratic Party and Port Clinton Lions Club. Surviving are her sisters: Michele and Ron Miller of Oak Harbor, Amy and Ed Cantu of Port Clinton; brother: Keith and Theresa Hartlaub of Port Clinton; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth and Pete Nestinger, Samantha and Jim Henderson, Sheldon and Samantha Miller, Kaci and Shawn White, Joe and Kendra Hartlaub, Larry and Lauren Hartlaub, Anaya Cantu, Ian Cantu; great-nieces and great-nephews: Tieler Crouse, Reace & Ike White, Gabriel, Aaron & Benjamin Nestinger, Will & Kendyll Hartlaub, Corbin, Danica & Gibson Miller, Charlotte Henderson; God daughters: Elizabeth Vogel and Olivia Hand. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Cheryl Hartlaub; sister-in-law: Bonnie Hartlaub and great-nephew Lee Hartlaub. Services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 214 E. Second St. Port Clinton, OH where the family will receive friends in the Guild Hall prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in the St. Thomas Columbarium.
