Kent L. Damschroder

Kent L. Damschroder, 79 of Bowling Green, OH died Monday, December 15, 2014 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, OH. He was born July 25, 1935 in Elmore, OH to the late John William and Marian (Paul) Damschroder. He was a 1953 graduate of Harris-Elmore High School and a 1957 graduate of Kent State University with a B.S. in Political Science. Kent worked at the Bank of Elmore for a number of years, but retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, District 2 located in Bowling Green from the Accounting Department. He was a member of the former Portage Lodge, F. & A.M. in Elmore, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo. He was also a member of the First Christian Church, Bowling Green. Survivors include his children: Debra (Steven) Dibert of Elmore, OH and Dean Damschroder of Bowling Green; grandchildren Cynthia (Dr. Craig) Butler and Nadine Dibert; great- randson Isaac Butler; sister- in-law Lillian Damschroder of Elmore. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jack Damschroder, and infant daughter. The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Thursday at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. S.R. 51, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 19, 2014. Interment will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice or First Christian Church.
