Kenneth M. Sayre

Kenneth M. Sayre, 53 of Port Clinton, OH and formerly of Oak Harbor, OH. died Sunday September 20, 2015 at University of Toledo Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born on August 24, 1962. Following his graduation from Oak Harbor High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he retired as Senior Chief Petty Officer after 23 years of service. At the time of his death, Ken was employed at the Erie County Veterans Office in Sandusky, OH. as a Service Coordinator. Ken was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan. He loved spending time with his four beautiful children. He was a devoted and loving father Survivors include his children: Courtney, Colby, Chance, and Carter of Port Clinton along with their mother Kami. Parents: Andrea(Morse) and Donald Lacumsky of Oak Harbor and Bryan and Pat Ernsberger of Fremont, OH. Siblings, Larry Sayre of North Dakota, Scott(Chrissy) of Oak Harbor, and Brett Ernsberger of Oak Harbor, Lindsay(Ryan) Austin of Sandusky, Brooke (Scott) Mascio of Columbus, Serenity(Josh) of Waterville, OH, Evonne (Karl) Mullinix of Maryland, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Grandmother Odelle Winklea. Friends and family may gather Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 1:30-3:30 P.M. at Crosser Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. A Service of Remembrance will then take place at 3:30PM at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Chuck Kaylor. A memorial service with Military Honors will take place at a later date.
