Kathleen Alice Grohman

Kathleen Alice "Kathy" Grohman, 67, of Catawba Island, OH and formerly of Defiance, OH died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at her residence. She was born Jan. 15, 1947 in Saginaw, MI the daughter of Robert and Jessie (Alderton) Hayden. She married Anthony Grohman on Feb. 18, 1968 and he survives. Mrs. Grohman was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Surviving are her husband: Tony; daughters: Cori (Sean) Byrne of Leesburg, VA, Tricia (Dale) Miller of Cheboygan, MI; son: Anthony (Belinda) Grohman of Charleston, SC; grandchildren: Taylor Byrne, Alexa Byrne and Molly Miller; sisters: Shelly (Bill) Bringer of Lake George, MI., Patricia "Patsy" (Dick) Mainprize of Freeland, MI; brother: James (Karla) Hayden of Hastings, MI; brother-in-law: Donald Rappley of Beaverton, MI; sister-in-law: Jane Hayden of Grand Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Mary "Hildy" Rappley; brother: Charles "Bo" Hayden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dan Borgelt at 11:00 am Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH where visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until the start of Mass. Additional visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 7:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. LakesideMarblehead, OH. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice or Little Sisters of the Poor, Oregon, OH.
