Kamille Reiss Allen

Kamille Reiss Allen, 82, of Lakeside, Ohio passed away August 5, 2015 at her home. She was born March 2, 1933 in Lorain, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Hannah (Erb) Reiss. Kamille graduated from Lima Central High School in Lima, Ohio and she received her BA in Education from Ohio Wesleyan University. She was a school teacher for 30 years in Lorain, Lima Shawnee, Lima City, Allen East, Hardin Northern, Marion Pleasant and she retired from North Bass Island School District in 1989. While teaching at North Bass she commuted back and forth from the main land. Kamille was a member of The Lakeside United Methodist Church, PEO and Noon Day Club. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Neil L. Allen, son: Neil J. Allen of Findlay, daughter: Eileen (Rex) Lane of Otsego, MI, grandchildren: Lindsay and Ashley Lane also of Otsego, MI, step-son: David (Kathy) Allen of Elyria, Ohio, sister-in-law: Barbara Reiss of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Reiss and Charles Reiss. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Lakeside United Methodist Church with Rev. Clyde "Bud" Cox and Rev. Vern Shepherd officiating. Private interment services will be held at Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township. Memorial contributions may be given to Lakeside United Methodist Church Endowment Fund or Lakeside United Methodist Church Library Fund.
