June L. Wylie

June L. Wylie, 70, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 26, 1946 in Port Clinton, OH the daughter of Forrest G. and Marjorie J. (Madison) Lentz. She married Franklin Wylie on March 3, 1973 and he preceded her in death on November 28, 2006. Mrs. Wylie previously worked as a Teacher's Aid at Catawba Elementary. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Surviving are her daughters: Melissa (Michael) Knecht of Canton, OH, Susan Wylie of Port Clinton, OH; son: Franklin (Holly) Wylie, Jr. of Huber Heights, OH; grandchildren: Patrick Bienvenu, 2nd Lt. Ronnie Caudill, Judith Caudill, Addison Wylie and Alexander Wylie. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, in-laws: Anna and Ernerst Wylie; brother and sister-in-law: Steve and Jeanne Wylie and nephew: Matthew Swartz. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, May 16, 2016 at Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Catawba Island Fire and Rescue, St. Jude Children's Cancer Research or Flagship Collaborative Play Place.
