Joseph R. “Bopper” Kostal, 74, of Marblehead, Ohio and formerly of Broadview Heights and Johnson's Island, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Magruder Hosptial, Port Clinton, Ohio. He was born March 12, 1933 in Cleveland a son of the late Joseph & Marie (Andrews) Kostal. He married Lorraine Hutton on August 12, 1954 and she preceded him in death in 2003. He was the owner and operator of Marblehead Golf Carts. He previously owned and operated Big Boppers in Marblehead and Lake Erie Machinery in Cleveland. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Marblehead Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7572. He is survived by his son, Ken (Diane) Kostal Fremont, OH; daughters, Deborah (Michael) Korinek of Orange Village, OH, Kathleen (Bill) Seitz of Seven Hills, OH; granddaughter, Taryn Seitz; grandson, Brian Seitz; brother, Tom (Charlotte) Kostal of Macedonia, OH; niece, Marlaine (John) Zitkewicz of Streetsboro, OH; and nephew, Tom (Julie) Kostal of Twinsburg, OH. A Celebration of Boppers life will be held Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Camp Runinmuck, 8786 Northshore Blvd. Lakeside-Marblehead, from 1–4 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside Fire Department or Marblehead Fire Department.
