Jessie Norris

Jessie Norris, 89, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 at Fremont Memorial Hospital. He was born July 20, 1925 the son of Roosevelt Moore and Fannie Norris. He married Cather Turner and later divorced. He was a gunner at Erie Army Depot and worked in maintenance at Camp Perry. He was a United Stated Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. Surviving are his son: Timothy S. Norris of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Timothy S. Norris, II, Jenna Sauers, Alexis Norris; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Maurine Lewis of Atlanta, Carolyn (Norman) Fletcher of Virginia; brother: Joseph Robinson of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Mosie Lee Johnson and brother: Willie "Calvin" Turner. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
