Jessica Burns died unexpectedly on August 04, 2020 at the age of 24. She is mourned by her parents Anne and Paul , her brother Jonathan, his partner Lee, and her Grandmother Mary. She also left behind Aunts Julie, Jeanne, Dorothy, Cathie, and Uncles Sam, Steve, Frank, Mark, Drew, and Tom. Her cousins Chrissie, Beth, Jackie, Allie, Vicky, Charlie, Ash, Jackie, Erin, Nate and Kate will miss her as well as more extended family, friends, co-workers and her ferret business that love her. Jessica lived her life boldly. One of her goals for 2020 was to have more adventures. She loved to bring joy to other people. She would drop everything to talk to a friend, make up a care package or share a beautiful photo. She also volunteered at the Richmond Hill United Methodist Church Food for the Soul soup kitchen. Jessica was firm in her convictions, and was an advocate for women's rights. She was an advocate for animals, an unofficial ferret ambassador and a member of the Cincinnati Zoo. Jessica graduated from UC with a degree in graphic arts. She enjoyed creating beautiful pictures and used her design training both in photographs and drawings. She also enjoyed putting her talents to work in creating cakes and cupcakes. She was a valued employee at Starbucks and The General Store. She will be buried on her beloved Kelleys Island. She was the great granddaughter of Frank and Frances Primosch that purchased Cozy Corner to become a part of the Kelleys Island community in the 1940s.
