James "Jim" T. Reynolds

     James T. Reynolds, 82 of Sylvania, OH died peacefully Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his home. He was born November 14, 1942 in Toledo, OH to the late Theodore “Ted” R. and Hazel C. (Swartzlander) Reynolds. He was a 1960 graduate of Harris-Elmore High School and received his Master’s Degree in Engineering from The University of Toledo. Jim retired from Dana Corporation in 2005, having started working there summers while in college. Jim had a life-long interest in the U.S. Space Program, enjoyed attending The University of Toledo football games and was devoted to his dogs, Gracie and Squeaky.

     Survivors include his daughter Robin Reynolds of Pleasant Prairie, WI, grandson Tyler Holcomb of Highland Park, IL and sister Carol Reynolds of Sarasota, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

     Funeral Services will begin at 1pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. SR 51, Elmore, OH 43416. The family will receive friends on Thursday beginning at 11am until the time of Service. Burial will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glenkirk (in memory of Jim Reynolds), 3504 Commercial Avenue, Northbrook, IL 60062.
