James A. Lenke, 62 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, March 9, 2015 at his home. He was born May 25, 1952 in Port Clinton, OH to the late Charles and Beatrice (Gulau) Lenke. He was a 1970 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. He proudly served his country in the Ohio National Guard from 1971 - 1977 with high honors in pro- park. On July 27, 1974 he married the former Tina Bloomer and she survives. Jim was a truck driver for UPS for 29 years retiring in 2012 with 25 years of safe driving. He also drove truck for Jason Sandwisch Trucking, Oak Harbor and hauled cattle for 15 years for Bowling Feed Lot and Farm, Fostoria, OH. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor; Circle 8 Saddle Club, Tri State Rodeo Association, and a 20 year advisor of Happy Horse 4-H Club. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Tina of Oak Harbor; children: Kurt Lenke of Oak Harbor, Kody (Brandon) Sander of Graytown, OH, Kristen (Joe) Dusseau of Graytown, and custodial father to Jordan (Shelby) Binder of Schofield Barracks, HI; brothers: Dick (Sandy) Lenke of Oak Harbor and Bill (JoAnn) Lenke of Fremont, OH; sisters: Carol (Carroll) Mylander of Oak Harbor, Connie (Tony) Heilman of Santa Fe, TX, Sandy (Mark) Rahm of Woodville, OH, and Beth (Jeff) Meyer of Oak Harbor; grandchildren: Bailey & Tait Dusseau, Taylor & Tucker Lenke, James & Josh Sander, Ayden & Emma Binder, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Thursday, March 12, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Cheryl Wessel officiating. Burial will be in Salem Twp. Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
