Irene M. Floro

     Irene M. Floro, 93 of Elmore, OH, died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Fremont, OH. She was born July 4, 1932 in Toledo, OH to the late Wallace and Ruth (Lewis) Chasteen. On January 8, 1949 she married Paul T. Floro Sr., who preceded her in death on February 13, 2023. She was the eldest member of St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore. She was also a member of the Elmore American Legion Auxiliary. She was also known to make a wonderful apple pie, she loved to bake.

     Survivors include her children: Tom (Lisa) Floro of Elmore, Nancy (Jeff) Wegman of Woodville, OH, Joan Skinner of Elmore, Bill (Terry) Floro of Genoa, OH, Mary (Roger) Massie of Elmore, Shirley Martin of Fremont, OH, and Janet (Michael) Irwin of Oregon, OH; grandchildren: Zachary, Abbey, Ashley, Alex, Brittany, Jeff Jr., Tausha, Michelle, Tiffany, David, Jamie, Stephen, Ryan, Brooke, and Jeremy; and 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by her infant son Robbie Floro; her siblings: Donald, Bud, Wallace, William, and Margaret.

      Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 2-7:30pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. SR 51, Elmore, OH 43416, followed by a Memorial Service provided by the Elmore American Legion Auxiliary to begin at 7:30pm. Private Graveside Services will be held in the Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore. Memorial Contributions may be made to Elmore American Legion Auxiliary.
