Helen Lucille Hennig

Helen Lucille "Ceal" Hennig, 88, of Marblehead, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Riverview Healthcare Campus in Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born on September 23, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Haupricht) Nachtrab. On July 19, 1947 she married Berthold "Bert" Hennig and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1993. Helen and Bert lived in Holland, Ohio until 1976 when they moved to Marblehead. Helen worked at Schneider Manufacturing in Toledo, Ohio and also at Kmart in Sandusky until her retirement in 1988. She enjoyed spending time with her family which included going out to eat, playing BINGO with Bert, and watching her grandson's car racing. She had a very kind heart and will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her son, Robert (Janet) Hennig, of Marblehead; grandsons, Daniel (Jaime) Hennig and Dustin Hennig; great-grandchildren, Courtny, Collin, Brody and Savannah; sister, Donna Ziems, of Toledo, Ohio; and brothers, Henry "Hank" (Yvonne) Nachtrab and Mike (Janie) Nachtrab, all of Holland, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 5-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Christina Young officiating. Burial will follow in Sackett Cemetery.
