Helen Boytim, 92, of Marblehead, OH died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at The Gardens of Clyde. She was born June 12, 1918 in Marblehead, OH the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kopchock) Kopchak, Sr. She married Allen Boytim on June 2, 1951 and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2000. She was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Marblehead where she was active in the Ladies Aid and she was previously a member of St. Casimir in Fremont until it closed. She loved baking, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children: Tom Boytim of Delaware, OH, Judy (Don) Kiser of Fremont, Jim (Tina) Boytim of Fremont; grandchildren: Doug (Heather) Boytim, David Boytim, Derek Boytim, Jessica Kiser, Matthew Kiser, Zachary Kiser; sisters: Grace Kopchak and Eleanor (Peter-deceased) Chura both of Marblehead. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers and sisters: Mike (Helen) Kopchak, Mary (Joseph) Shivey, Anna (John) Semon, John Kopchak, Frank Kopchak, Andrew (Inez) Kopchak, Margaret Kopchak, Steve Kopchak and Lillian Kopchak. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 2:00 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead. The Parastas will be at 7:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home. Panachida will be Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home. Office of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Monday at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Interment will be in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH with the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Bryan Eyman officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Marblehead or Lakeside Vol. Fire Dept or Heartland Hospice.
