Galen C. Gibson

Galen C. "Hoot" Gibson, 73, peacefully returned to the Lord on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Pinellas Park, FL., surrounded by his immediate family and dear friends. Born June 27, 1941 near Graytown, OH, he was the son of the late Jerry & Irene (Arndt) Gibson. A Vietnam Era veteran of the Coast Guard, he served in New Orleans, LA, Kodiak Island, AK, and Buffalo, NY. Hoot is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathleen (Conboy) Gibson; sons, Eric (Cindy) Gibson, Adam (Elizabeth) Gibson; daughters, Julie (Rodney) Brown, and Sarah Gibson. Also surviving are his sisters, Bonnie (John) McGeorge and Darla Snyder, and 8 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 5930 South Abbott Rd., Orchard Park, NY.
