Eugene Green

Eugene Green, 86, of Marblehead, OH died January 2, 2010 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. He was born August 20, 1923 the son of the late Thomas and Callie (Swafford) Green. He married Valsie Mae Caffee on June 23, 1945 and she preceded him in death on Dec. 19, 1995. Mr. Green was a welder who worked for U. S. Gypsum and Wiechel Manufacturing. Surviving are his son: Tony Green of Marblehead, OH; daughters: Betty Todd of Marblehead, Barbara (Lawrence) Annon of Willard, OH, Cathy (Roger) Harvey of Mosan, TN; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother: Herbert Green of Alabama; and sister: Willie Mae Norwood of Alabama. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter: Bernice D. Green; great-grandson: Pvt. Keiffer Wilhelm brothers: J. B. Green, T. D. Green, Aaron Green, Junior Green, Rufus Green; sisters: Francis Meadows and Dessie Eaton. Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Big Hurricane Cemetery, Tuscalousa, AL.
