Eugene A. "Bud" LaCumsky, 78, of Port Clinton died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at St.Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. Bud was born July 21, 1931 in Port Clinton to Arthur and Lillian (Puestow) LaCumsky. He graduated from Danbury High School in 1949. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War. He worked at United States Gypsum Co. for 391/2 years retiring in 1987. He was a life long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. His favorite past-times were going to sprint car races and camping. He is survived by his wife: Shirley (Harder) LaCumsky whom he married on April 12, 1958 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Danbury. Also surviving are his children: Lori (Eddie) Urban, Tammie (Donnie) Boss, Debbie (Tim) White all of Port Clinton, Jim (Anita Cooper) LaCumsky of Fontana, CA, Connie (Steve) Canini of Columbus, OH; grandchildren: Bethany, Abbey, Adam (Ashlee Florey) Urban, Sarah, Jimmy (Lauren) Boss, Phillip (Melanie) Boss, Jason (Michelle Ford) Boss, Nate White, Chad, Janelle and Audra LaCumsky, Jennifer (John Ed) Thompson, Brian and Andrea Canini and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Irene (LaCumsky) French-Lattimore. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 2:00 9:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, OH. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 10:00 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 S. Church Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH until Funeral Services at 11:00 am with Reverend Christina L. Young, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury, the American Heart Association, or to the American Cancer Society.
