Ethel Gresh, 99, of Marblehead died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born June 24, 1915 on Catawba Island, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Fitzthum) Sedlak. She married Mike Gresh, Sr. on April 15, 1939 and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1996. Mrs. Gresh was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and helped run the family business, Mike Gresh Well Drilling. Surviving are her children: Michael (Barbara) Gresh, Jr., Vince (Linda) Gresh and E. Jean (Dennis) Printy all of Marblehead, OH; grandchildren: Jason (Lisa) Printy, Kim Crisp, Nancy (Paul) Bickley, Lee Ann (Matt) Bickley and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mike; brothers: John Sedlak, Clarence Sedlak; sisters: Mabel Pierce and Julia Stark. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside--Marblehead, OH. Prayer services will be conducted in the funeral home at 10:30 am Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Father Dan Borgelt at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church 822 Barclay St., Marblehead, OH or the Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 E. Sand Rd. Port Clinton, OH.
