Elwood E. Dunmyer

Elwood E. Dunmyer, 86, of Oregon, OH and formerly of Elmore, died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. He was born May 28, 1921 in Toledo, OH to the late Fred and Florence (Hellwig) Dunmyer. He was a 1939 graduate of Harris- Elmore High School. On September 20, 1941 he married the former Angeline Magsig who preceded him in death on December 14, 1999. Mr. Dunmyer was a lifetime farmer where he owned and operated, with his father and brother-in-law, Dunmyer Dairy Farm. He was a member of St. Paul Trinity United Methodist Church, Elmore. Elwood was a devoted husband who dearly loved his family. Survivors include his son James (Jan) Dunmyer of Temperance, MI, daughters: Jenny (Steve) Walker of Columbus, OH, and Diane Dunmyer of Toledo; grandchildren Elizabeth and Brian Ramey; and sister Geraldine Olson of Alaska. He was also preceded in death by a sister Mary Elizabeth Magsig. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will begin at 11:00am Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery with Pastor Rick Stumer officiating.
