Elvis D. Benavides

Elvis D. Benavides, 53, formerly of Elmore, OH died suddenly Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Bay Park Hospital, Oregon. He was born October 1, 1956 in Oregon, OH to Henry and Nancy (Mireles) Benavides. On August 22, 1988 he married the former Denise Parks. Elvis was an Owner/Operator Truck Driver. He will be remembered for his comedy and loving fixing cars and trucks. Survivors include his wife and parents; children Elvis Jr., and Nicole Benavides; brother Henry (Gloria) Benavides; sisters: Dorothy (Merritt) Bixler, and Sophia Fisher; best friend Ruben Rodriguez, and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by; his sons Vincent and John Benavides and brother Christopher Benavides. Visitation will be Friday from 2-7pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. State Route 51, Elmore. Services will be held at 7pm Friday evening August 20, 2010 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clay Township Cemetery.
