Ellen (Gunton) Golias

Ellen (Gunton) Golias, 71, of Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Promedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on October 23, 1946 in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Moughan) Gunton. Her husband, George Golias, preceded her in death on October 2, 1995. Ellen was the director of the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center of Ottawa County until her retirement in 2014. Ellen was a member of Chapel on the Lake, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio. Survivors include her siblings Richard Gunton, Ann Murray, Jane Vanek (Jack), Thomas Gunton (Sharon), Lisa Jouppi (Dan) and her nieces and nephews. A Memorial service for Ellen has been scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at Chapel on the Lake, 145 South Bridge Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio with Pastor Brad Hall officiating.
