Edwin T. Kolarek

Edwin T. Kolarek, 91, of Lakeside, OH died Friday, November 28, 2014 at Otterbein North Shore Retirement Village. He was born Dec. 9, 1922 in Hinckley, OH the son of Thom and Bessie (Chalupa) Kolarek. He married Alice Skorepa and she survives. He later married Patricia Templeton and she survives. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Philippines and Australia during World War II. Mr. Kolarek retired in 1987 as an engineer from Western Reserve Telephone Co. After retiring he worked in security at Lakeside Association for many years. Surviving are his daughters: Susan (Bob) Hohs of Northfield Center, OH, Nancee (Scot) Rogers of Cincinnati, OH and Laura (Jack) Risher of Cincinnati, OH; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
