Edmond Ferguson

Edmond Ferguson, 90, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Monday, July 30, 2007 at his residence. He was born on September 6, 1916, the son of the late George & Elizabeth Ferguson. He worked as a brakeman for the former Norfolk & Western Railroad, in Bluefield, West Virginia until his retirement in 1978. He married Irene McClellan on April 4, 1983, and she survives. He was a member of Brush Arbor Church, Gypsum, Ohio. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife: Irene Ruggles-Ferguson; daughter: Dorene Lynd-Foxx, Port Clinton; sons: Joie (Beverly) Ruggles, Palm Coast, FL; Randy (Lynne) Ruggles, Port Clinton; Raymond (Denise) Ruggles, Newport, TN; Gerald (Florence) Ruggles, Ironton, OH; step daughters: Irene Lowe, Fredericksburg, VA; Jean Lowe, VA; step sons: Bud Collins, Portsmith, VA; Bill Collins, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Lonnie Frye, and eleven brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Jim Comstock officiating.
